Congratulation goes to Katie Reiser from Elmwood High School for winning both the 100 and 200 meter sprints at the Ohio State High School Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships! Earlier this year at the Ohio State High School Indoor Track and Field Championships tied the State Division II record in the 60 meter sprint with a time of 7.59. Katie will be receiving a scholarship from Kent State. Another congratulations goes to Katherine Jamienson probably the best female athlete in the State of Ohio, she broke the State record in the Division III 300 hurdles last year. This year she placed second in both the 100 and 300 hurdles and placed fifth in the 200 meter sprint. The young woman that beat her had to run the fastest race of her life and had to go to a level that broke the state record in order to beat Katherine, which shows you the effort that was needed to place above her. During basketball she broke through the 1000 point barrier and has received a scholarship from Michigan State in field hockey, how about that, find me another athlete male or female that has reached that level of play! Congratulations to Ian Stolar an 8th grader from the Rossford's Junior High School for his accomplishments in the 2010 track and field season. He did his personal best in the 100 at 11.83, 5th fastest time in the State of Ohio among 8th graders, 200 at 24.62, 6th fastest and the 400 at blistering 54.63 which currently is the fastest time in the state and broke the school record. He also anchored the 4x400 to break the school record and popped off 3rd all time fastest 4x100 team and finally he was member of 3rd fastest all time 4x200 team at Rossford Junior High School! This was the second time he has ran track and only trained ten times with us, an unparallel performance of any athlete that has trained at Your Fitness Answer for only ten sessions! And he is really a football player! Watch out Toledo for this guy.
